MOUNT MARULA · THABAZIMBI
Nature. Heritage.
Hospitality.
Welcome to Mount Marula Game Lodge.
A place to find your own rhythm.
Along the R511 in the Koedoeskop area of Thabazimbi, Mount Marula offers space to settle into the rhythms of the bushveld. Mornings invite a closer look at the birds and resident wildlife; evenings bring changing skies and time to gather with the people you came to see.
Buffalo, giraffe, zebra and a variety of antelope share the farm with smaller, often elusive neighbours. A guided drive or a patient spell in a hide offers a way to appreciate them without rushing the encounter. The resident wildlife list is confirmed by the lodge, while every sighting remains a matter of timing and nature.
Our self-catering accommodation offers an independent stay, with RockFig priced at R900 per person per night. Solar power supports the lodge and Wi-Fi is available at all camps. Check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 10:00.
We welcome Muslim guests and are happy to discuss your dietary and other requirements before arrival. All accommodation is self-catering. Meals can be requested in advance and arranged subject to confirmation; please discuss any halaal requirements with us when enquiring.
Mount Marula also brings people together for on-farm learning in agriculture and eco-tourism, with groups of 10–20 accommodated by arrangement. Whether you are here to learn, photograph wildlife or simply pause, we look forward to helping you plan your visit.
